Job Description of Cargo Loader:

UPS Airport Warehouse Workers hold a critical position in our logistics operations. As Cargo Loader, they work in a state-of-the-art hub that serves as the central point of our global air network. Responsibilities include sorting, loading and unloading package volumes within the facility or working outside to load and unload UPS aircraft using specialized equipment. Physical stamina, precise attention to detail, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cargo Loader:

• Move packages of up to 70 lbs safely and securely.
• Operate equipment to assist with the loading and unloading of aircrafts.
• When working at a height, it is vital to adhere to safety standards to reduce the risk of falls and other accidents.
• Use UPS machinery to handle parcels in a proficient way.
• Be part of a vibrant and heterogeneous team, cooperating towards a common goal.
• Focus on the critical need for effectiveness and precision.

Qualifications and Experience of Cargo Loader:

• Ability to handle items with a maximum weight of 70 pounds.
• Prolonged durability and physical might for uninterrupted lifting.
• Discrimination based on factors such as race, age, gender, or disability is illegal when it comes to hiring practices and the right to work.
• A work ethic that is trustworthy and accountable.
• Proficient in working confidently at high altitudes.
