Job Description of Cargo Handler:

UPS Airport Warehouse Workers hold a critical position in our logistics operations. As Cargo Handler, they work in a state-of-the-art hub that serves as the central point of our global air network. Responsibilities include sorting, loading and unloading package volumes within the facility or working outside to load and unload UPS aircraft using specialized equipment. Physical stamina, precise attention to detail, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cargo Handler:

• Transport packages weighing up to 70 lbs with care and caution.
• Safely handle and transport cargo and shipping containers onto and off of planes.
• It is imperative to implement safety protocols to maintain safe working conditions when working at elevated heights.
• Use UPS machinery to handle parcels in a proficient way.
• Harmonize with a mixed and dynamic team, collaborating towards an overarching vision.
• Focus on the critical need for effectiveness and precision.

Qualifications and Experience of Cargo Handler:

• Proficiency to lift loads as heavy as 70 pounds.
• Consistent ability to lift demands stamina and robust physicality.

• A work ethic that is characterized by dependability and responsibility.
• Proficient in working confidently at high altitudes.
• Stalwart work shoes desired.

Salary:

The initial compensation for this job is $21.00 an hour.
