Job Summary of Aircraft Maintenance Technician:

This position focuses on the maintenance and repair of commercial aircraft to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards and operational reliability. Tasks include inspecting, servicing, and documenting aircraft systems and components in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies. The role requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining a wide range of aircraft models and systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Aircraft Maintenance Technician:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and related systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving pneumatic, hydraulic, engine, and structural components.
• Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance actions using established procedures and data systems.
• Operate, taxi, and reposition aircraft as qualified and trained to do so.
• Inspect and service aircraft, ensuring compliance with federal aviation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all departmental policies and safety protocols.
• Attend required training sessions and assist with departmental improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience of Aircraft Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of aircraft maintenance experience preferred, including work on Boeing, Airbus, McDoell Douglas, military jets, or regional aircraft.
• Proficient with computer systems and maintenance data entry tools.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and understanding of technical manuals and schematics.

Salary:

• Starting at $30.13 per hour, governed by collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
