As a UPS Last-Mile Delivery Specialist, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for delivering packages to homes and businesses. You will drive our iconic brown trucks, ensuring that our customers receive their packages promptly and with a smile. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Last-Mile Delivery Specialist:

• Responsible driving of a UPS delivery truck involves strictly adhering to all traffic and safety regulations to keep oneself and others safe on the road.
• This work involves the collection, movement, and delivery of packages of assorted dimensions to both individual homes and commercial establishments.
• Make it a priority to provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive delivery experience for all customers.
• Individuals must comply with the UPS Uniform and Personal Appearance Guidelines in order to present a professional appearance.
• Use handheld devices to manage deliveries with maximum efficiency, minimizing wait times and streamlining routes.
• Wearing the attire offered by UPS is an integral part of following the organization's dress code protocols.
• Engaging in work tasks for the entire work shift period that typically ranges from 8 to 10 hours per day.

Qualifications and Experience of Last-Mile Delivery Specialist:

• Expert at carrying and transporting objects weighing up to 70 pounds smoothly.
• It is not a requirement to obtain a CDL if you have a valid driver's license that meets your state's requirements and standards.
• Successfully complete the medical screening process administered by the Department of Transportation.
• Exemplary customer service aptitude in sync with impeccable on-road capabilities.
