Job Summary of Notary Public Associate:

This position combines notarial duties with retail responsibilities at The UPS Store. The role requires an individual who is a certified Notary Public in California and is enthusiastic about delivering excellent customer service while supporting daily store operations. This position involves handling documents, assisting customers, and managing light physical tasks within a team oriented environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Notary Public Associate:

• Provide notary services in compliance with California state laws and guidelines.
• Assist customers with a variety of store services including shipping, packaging, printing, and mailbox operations.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately.
• Support store upkeep and organization to maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and friendly service.
• Lift and carry packages up to 80 lbs as needed for store and customer operations.

Qualifications and Experience of Notary Public Associate:

• Valid California Notary Public certification is required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs safely and repeatedly.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a cheerful, patient, and team-oriented attitude.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn store systems.
